Mr. Elikem Nutifafa Kuenyehia

Entrepreneur, Lawyer and Academic

Elikem Nutifafa Kuenyehia is an entrepreneur and busines lawyer focused on inwards bound foreign direct investments into Africa. He has been admitted to the roll of lawyers in England and Wales and to the Ghana Bar.

Elikem is most noted for starting Oxford & Beaumont Solicitors with just $5000 seed capital and growing it become a globally recognised leading law firm. In December 2015, he initiated and jointly implemented the first fully integrated pan-African law firm merger, with ENSafrica Inc., Africa’s largest firm.

In November 2020, Elikem exited ENSafrica, taking sabbatical to finish his next book and pursuing other interests. In November 2021, he will be joining new generation law firm Keystone Solicitors to drive its growth and expansion,He has also previously worked as International Banking and Finance Lawyer at Linklaters, a Global Loans Lawyer at Barclays Capital, and an associate brand manager at Diageo North America.
Before starting Oxford & Beaumont, he was part of the team that started United Bank Ghana Limited.
Elikem has a degree in jurisprudence from University of Oxford, and an MBA in finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
For over ten years he was adjunct lecturer in entrepreneurship and small business management at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and has been Executive-in-Residence at University of Ghana Business School. He is author of the textbook “Kuenyehia on Entrepreneurship’, considered a ground-breaking resource on African entrepreneurship.
His many other accolades include:

An art aficionado and expresses this love through is personal art collection and Kuenyehia Trust for Contemporary Art with supports young visual artists across West Africa. Along with his sisters, he is co-founder of The Akua Kuenyehia Foundation to arm bright underprivileged girls with holistic education and inspiration, thereby changing Ghana one person at a time
Elikem, has since the establishment in September 2019, of State Interest and Governance Authority (SIGA), Mr Kuenyehia has been on the Governance board as a nominee of President Nana Akuffo-Addo. Other current directorships include Sentinel Asset &Investment Management, Luno Money and Serenity Homes. Previous board memberships include Hollard Insurance, Chase Petroleum and Google Ghana
